The Circle — UTAS Connection Group
A UTAS Connection Group · Virtual · Biweekly

The Circle

For parents raising children with extreme behaviors — where regulation, community, and the hard reality are held at once.

Free to join · No cost. No catch. Just parents who get it.

You don't need to explain
your child to us.

If you are raising a child whose behaviors are beyond what most parents can imagine — and beyond what most therapists have seen — The Circle was built for you.

Parents raising children with RAD, FASD, complex trauma, PTSD, or attachment disorders — whose behaviors have reshaped the entire nervous system of the household.

Parents who have read every book, tried every therapist, and still feel completely alone in what they're living through.

Parents raising children with extreme defiance, aggression, dissociation, or behaviors that don't fit neatly into any diagnosis.

Parents who need a room full of people who actually get it — not a group where you spend the whole hour trying to explain why it's different.

"There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes from raising a child whose behaviors most people will never understand. That changes here."

Structured. Focused.
Actually useful.

Each session runs 90 minutes and follows a consistent format — so you always know what to expect and you always leave with something.

5 MIN
Opening
Who we are, the rules of the space, and what to expect tonight. Every session begins the same way so the container stays safe.
5 MIN
Grounding Practice
A simple breathwork reset — inhale, long slow exhale — to arrive fully before we begin. You can't hold a room if you can't hold yourself.
~70 MIN
Lightning Rounds
Each parent gets 5 minutes to share their situation. Five community members give 1 minute of real advice. Then 1 minute from our facilitator. Approximately 5 families per session.
5 MIN
Closing + Grounding
We regulate out together. You don't leave activated. This is not optional — it's part of the design.
5 MIN
Resource Share
One tool, one invitation, one next step — something you can take with you and actually use this week.

About the lottery: If more parents register than we have lightning round spots, we use a lottery system to select who speaks. Everyone else is a full, valued witness. Listening is not passive in this room — it is its own form of healing. You will hear your story in someone else's words. That matters too.

The RAD Education Suite

The Circle gives you community. The RAD Education Suite gives you the framework, the language, and the tools to understand what is actually happening in your child's nervous system — and what to do about it.

Available to Circle Members
RAD Education Suite
A structured education program built specifically for families raising children with Reactive Attachment Disorder and complex trauma. Learn what the behaviors mean, how to respond, and how to protect your own nervous system in the process.

Circle members get access to individual modules or the full suite — available for purchase after your first session.
